The interdisciplinary student team behind Sustainable UH is called the HUB, which stands for Help Us Bridge. Our name reflects our second mission to interconnect and collaborate with anyone and everyone working toward sustainability. The HUB's first initiative, Sustainable Saunders, is well known for their successful projects at the University of Hawaii at Manoa’s Saunders Hall, which implemented over $149,900 in annual energy savings without spending a cent.
Sustainable UH extends the momentum of Sustainable Saunders to those throughout the UH system requesting our services, beginning with Honolulu Community College (HCC) and UHM's Richardson School of Law.
